Hello Friends and Fellow Art enthusiasts!
It’s been a busy start to 2025 for me…. how about you? My husband Dave and I went on an epic road trip to attend the 20th anniversary CowgirlUP! show at the end of March. It was wonderful to see old friends and meet some new ones. If you are in Wickenburg stop by and see this wonderful show of all women artists interpreting the west. If you aren’t in the area you can also purchase art online. The exhibit runs through May 25th But wait, that’s not the end of the trip. From AZ we drove all the way to Brooksville FL to celebrate Dave’s parents 70th wedding anniversary! Wow and they still hold hands everyday. They have been a wonderful example of enduring love and we didn’t want to miss the party for anything. After almost a month on the road and visiting family, I am finally back in the studio and working hard on my next show which will be at Art 321 in Casper WY. My exhibit, Riding the Range- Travel Discovery & Memory, is part of the larger Weaving the Fabric of Time exhibit. Opening on August 7th at 5:30, there will be an artist talk (that’s me) at 6:30. The exhibit continues till Sept 27th. Finally, for those of you who are in or close to Cheyenne, our wonderful Laramie County Library is offering my 2 part Life Rings Workshop next month starting on May 4th and finishing on May 18th. Like everything at this fabulous library, it’s FREE! Sign up is through the Library. I hope everyone has a wonderful Spring and perhaps I will see you here at the studio, at a show or somewhere down the road. Thanks! Georgia
